PHILANTHROPY
Each National Kappa Kappa Iota chapter collects children's books and Teddy Bears /stuffed animals to donate to organizations that assist children who are victims of abuse or neglect. Annually Mu Chapter donates BOOKS & BEARS to the Lambda State Chapter for distribution.
Community Service
Mu Chapter members participate in Community Service events through volunteering with specific project, donations of funds for events, and hosting specific events.

Mu Chapter supports the Community Service Project of the statewide chapter.

2024-2025 Lambda State Philanthropy Project supports teachers in Uganda​
Annually Mu members participate in the Make-A-Difference Day activities. Each member selects a project sponsored by a local non-profit or service organization and volunteers time and skill to the project.
